Bloomfield Hills Firm Announces Battery Design Service

Bloomfield Hills-based KUBT Inc. announced a new service, prototype engineering development and design optimization for developers of lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries.

KUBT -- an acronym for Korea-USA Battery Technology -- will provide application engineering for battery development, including mixing of the client's formula through the finished product.

KUBT also offers assistance in the engineering development phase of the clients' project for design space consideration, optimizing performance and product shape, and design requirements of the product battery energy requirements.

KUBT will also provide prototype products for performance testing, analysis and modifications, utilizing the BMS Battery Management System prior to the purchase of capital equipment.

The KUBT seminar will describe best practices for each stage of manufacturing, from the planetary mixer controlling the customers' formula to the final assembly with inline battery testing and specification verification during manufacturing to battery unit testing in the final assembly and in vehicle battery management system.
