Groundbreaking For Emagine Theater In Royal Oak

Groundbreaking expected today for a $14 million Emagine Theater in Royal Oak.

The big dig, at Eleven Mile Road east of Main Street, is expected to pave the way for the big screen as soon as next April. A 16-lane bowling alley and restaurant are also part of the plan.

The building was originally supposed to open this fall.
