Five people are recovering from a drive-by shooting following a fight at a house party in northwest Detroit.

Police Sgt. Eren Stephens said investigators believe they know who fired into a crowd just after midnight Saturday outside the house in Greenlawn.

She said the shooting may be a result of gang violence and that the suspect is believed to have been in the house when the fight started.

The fight moved outdoors, where four men and one woman were hit by gunfire.

Two of the victims were in critical condition at area hospitals. Police also found a man stabbed at the scene, but are unsure if he was wounded inside or outside the house.

No arrests have been made.
