Michigan Tax Conference

It's known as the second largest tax conference in the country, and it's coming back to the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi for the fourth time. The Michigan Tax Conference will play host to both national and local accounting experts in November.

"Our goal is always to help Michigan practitioners, CPA's and attorneys, who work for firms or those who work within a company, to understand Michigan taxes better," said Judy Trepeck, with the Michigan Association of CPA's.

Trepeck says the event will be a place to network and hear speakers discuss state taxes.

"The whole goal here is to be pretty hands on, to help people with very practical issues. We've got a session that's particularly geared for those who serve smaller businesses, and those who serve larger business. So we really get down to what the issues are for those different sizes of businesses all the way around so that we can do a better job at helping them with their taxes," said Trepeck.

The conference takes place November 9th and 10th. Members and non-members are able to register for either or both days.
