Ford Motor Company is taking the wraps off of a new technology Monday that could mean an instant 10 percent fuel economy improvement.

Ford Product Development Chief Derek Kuzak says they’ve been working to put in the system so it’s seamless to drivers. “We’ve been working on a lot about that technology before comfortable in offering it,” Kuzak said. “One element is start time, another is quietness.”READ MORE: Deadline Detroit Co-Founder Says Website Will Shut Down After Sept. 5
