MSNBC To Broadcast Live From Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - MSNBC will broadcast live from Detroit for two hours Sunday, as part of the network's "Stronger America" initiative. The Town Hall-style broadcast will deal with the country's problems, using Detroit as a backdrop.

"We're looking for the concerns from the people in Detroit, the people in Michigan, including folks from the online community as well as the many emails we've received to expand this conversation beyond what we've been having for the last 20, 30 years," said MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall.

The program airs from Noon until 2 p.m. Sunday, August 14, from the Detroit School of Arts.  Free tickets are available to the public, here.
