Detroit Lions Cut 8 Players
This morning the Detroit Lions announced they released eight players. Among the players are: WR's Damario Ballard, Marcus Harris, and RB Mike Bell, who was signed when Mikel Leshoure tore his Achilles. K Dave Rayner was also released which means Jason Hanson is completely healthy and will be the week 1 kicker. The others who were released are TE Richard Dickson (waived/injured), LB DeJuan Fulghum, DB Michael Johnson and DT Montavious Stanley. The Lions have to be down to 80 players by 4pm. They have 82 players after these cuts.
