LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has endorsed an online snowmobile safety course designed for young operators.

The department says the course offered by Fresh Air Educators Inc. satisfies Michigan’s snowmobile safety education requirement for youth. Michigan law requires that children between 12 and 17 years old successfully complete an approved safety training program.
