Woman Beaten With Baseball Bat Over Borrowed Jeans

PONTIAC (WWJ) - Sheriff's deputies  in Oakland County say a woman was beaten with a baseball bat over a pair of jeans she borrowed.

Investigators say they responded to a home on Cherry Hill Drive in Pontiac just after 3 a.m. Thursday, where they found the female victim bleeding from the head.

She said the incident was over a pair of jeans she borrowed, and was able to point out the location were her attacker was hiding.

When Pontiac deputies attempted contact with the suspect, no one would answer the door. Eventually, the suspect was found along with the bat used in the assault. A woman was also located inside the residence, who police say had four warrants for her arrest.

Police arrested both the male suspect, 49, and the female, 35, with warrants. Both were lodged at the Oakland County Jail.

An investigation is ongoing.
