$1.1 Million Tops Off Charlie Munger's 2011 Donations To U of M

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Another big donation to the University of Michigan from Berkshire Hathaway's vice chair.

Charlie Munger donated more than $1.1 million worth of stock in Warren Buffett's company to U of M regents at the end of December, bringing his total to $20 million for 2011.

The money is to be used to pay for renovations to U of M's law school.

Munger, who is 88, lives in California. He studied mathematics at Michigan in the 1940s.
