MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ/AP) – A jury has convicted a southeastern Michigan woman of sexually assaulting and murdering her 2-year-old stepdaughter.

Authorities say Lily Wolfenbarger-Furneaux was killed in Nov. 20, 2010, in King’s New Haven mobile home.
Macomb County Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz testified during the trial that Lily suffered at least 20 areas of impact on her head and had vaginal injury.
