'Get Your Heart Racing' At Auto-Focused Fundraising Event

DEARBORN (WWJ) - It's a unique way for car lovers to have some fun and raise money to help people with heart problems.

Ford Designer Melvin Betencourt has put together a one-of-a kind Shelby GT500 to autction off for the Edith and Benson Ford Heart and Vascular Institute at Henry Ford Hospital. It's personal to him, because he survived a serious cardiac scare.

The car will be auctioned off at an event called "Get Your Heart Racing," on Saturday, Sept. 22, which includes some time on the Ford test track.
