DETROIT (WWJ) – An Oak Park woman is facing felony charges for bringing a gun to federal court in Detroit Friday morning. U.S. District Court spokesman Rod Hanson says the weapon was spotted after she came through the Fort Street entrance.

“One of the court security guards noticed in the x-ray machine that he could see a weapon in her purse, at that particular point he secured the weapon – it was loaded, and the woman was detained,” said Hanson.
