Michigan Community Will Get To Relish Pickle Fest

LINWOOD (AP) - Don't fret pickle festival fans, this year's Linwood festival is going to happen after all.

Rumors and ambiguity have been creating confusion ahead of the 37th year of pickle-themed festivities in the Bay County community.

But organizer Doug Williams says the event is "definitely still happening," The Bay City Times reported.

Williams said the festival will take place Aug. 17-19 at Bicentennial Park in Linwood.

Some details were made available online this week at the official festival website.

Although the event won't be as big as it's been in the past, Williams says longtime pickle fest fans have no need to fear.
