Kronk Boxing Returns This Month To Joe Louis Area

DETROIT (WWJ) - Tickets are now on sale for "Kronk: The New Generation" -- a seven bout program featuring Detroit Middleweight Tony Harrison in downtown Detroit.

Kronk Boxing creator Emanuel Steward says Harrison took on his upcoming opponent last month in California. Steward said that fighter is the first one to go past two rounds with Harrison, who was wobbling a bit by the end of the 7th round.

"It was such a great, exciting fight that instead of having the regular opponent that we had scheduled for this -- I said let's see if we can make that re-match," Steward  said. "So, he's fightin' the guy who, I think, is close to 30 fights .... Calvin Odom. And , so, he and Calvin Odom will fight the main event fight."

Harrison is 9-and-0 with eight knockouts. Odom is 15-and-12 with 11 knockouts.
