Remains Found In Torched Detroit House Identified
DETROIT (WWJ) - The body parts found in a Detroit home this week have been identified as belonging to a 34-year old Detroit man.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office says Casey Durham suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Durham's remains were discovered Monday night in garbage bags inside of an abandoned, burned-out home on Leslie Street, near Linwood and the Davison on the city's west side.
Michigan Department of Corrections records show that Durham was paroled in March after serving time for armed robbery and firearms-related charges.
An investigation is ongoing.
