Suh Teammates: Dive Show Could Cause Lions To Belly Flop
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Ndamukong Suh is a big, tough guy, the kind of guy who doesn't have to talk smack to scare opponents, he just has to show up.
So when Suh puts on a brightly colored bathrobe and bath clogs to potentially embarrass himself on national TV, it's not necessarily good for the Detroit Lions.
Several of Suh's teammates allegedly talked to celebrity watching website TMZ, complaining about Suh's stint on an upcoming reality show diving competition. A 300-pound man diving headfirst into a body of water is a potential injury waiting to happen -- like a busted ear drum that could destroy his balance -- they said anonymously.
And after the season they just suffered through, the Lions can't afford any injuries, players said.
"One last source -- who happens to be an African-American -- added, "He's a big dude ... and 'black' and 'pool' just don't mix. He's built for football ... not belly flops," TMZ reported.
