Lawsuit Dismissed Against Mitch Albom Charity
PONTIAC (AP) - A Michigan judge has dismissed a lawsuit that operators of a Haitian orphanage filed against local author Mitch Albom and one of his charities.
The lawsuit claims Albom broke terms of an agreement about running the orphanage after the devastating January 2010 earthquake.
The suit was filed in September in Oakland County Circuit Court by the Caring and Sharing Mission charity and its founder.
