Firefighters Work To Contain Blaze In Detroit Neighborhood
DETROIT (WWJ) - Fire crews in Detroit battle a tough fire, trying to keep it from spreading to nearby homes.
The blaze was reported at 185 W. Margaret, near Charleston, on the east side of town.
Firefighters had to stretch fire hoses for nearly a block long, because a nearby fire hydrant had been shut off.
At one point police were called in to assist when cars were driving over the fire hoses and causes dangerous surges to firefighters.
No reports of any injuries.
