Police: Man Held Up 7-Eleven Store With Crowbar

LENOX TWP. (WWJ) - Police are looking for the man who robbed a Macomb County 7-Eleven and threatened the store clerk with a crowbar.

Police say the incident happened around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday at the 7-Eleven store on 26 Mile Road in Lenox Township.

According to police, the suspect entered the store, pulled out a white garbage bag and demanded the clerk put cash in it. Police say the suspect then slammed a crowbar on the counter and threatened to kill the clerk if they did not comply.

The suspect fled the store after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. The clerk was uninjured.

Police have now released a still image and video of the robbery in hopes someone might be able to identify the suspect.
