Munro & Associates Hires Hergott as Research Associate: Munro & Associates, a technology firm specializing in predictive design and manufacturing methods, announced it has hired Lillian R. Hergott as a research associate based at the company’s Troy office. In her new role, Hergott will be responsible for organizational informatics, fulfilling research needs and assisting in various new business and administrative duties. Hergott brings advanced skills in data control, information retrieval, online searching and bibliographic management software to her new position. As a digitization technician at the Maurer School of Law Library at Indiana University in Bloomington, she successfully completed the digitization of the Brevier Legislative Report. She also served as a librarian assistant at IU’s Herman B. Wells Library, assisting in tasks related to the government document and periodical collections. She also has a background in web development and has designed and created numerous websites for clients spanning a variety of industries. Most recently, Hergott served as an associate at Avanti Press in Detroit and a marketing manager at BlueWare in Cadillac. She is a member of the American Library Association, College Art Association and American Society for Information Science and Technology. Hergott earned a dual master’s degree in library science and information science from IU and a bachelor of arts degree with a minor in English from Albion College in Michigan.
