Ham Still The Easter Favorite For Locals

FERNDALE (WWJ) - With Easter this Sunday, one place that's already hopping is the Honey Baked Ham Store in Ferndale.

When you think of Easter, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

"Honey Baked Ham, got to have the honey baked ham," said store associate Avery Whiteside.

Whiteside said he knows why customers keep coming back for more: "That glaze, everybody loves that nice warm glaze that the ham got - it's like - addictive."

He's keeping the special recipe a secret - "We can't tell you that," he laughed.

Depending on the size of ham - the spead can run you anywhere from $50 to $100 which includes 'the fixings.'
