Tailgating At Eastern Market Returns For Lions Football
DETROIT (WWJ) - Eastern Market is ready for some football and the fans who follow!
The longstanding tradition of tailgating before a Lions game returns to Detroit's Eastern Market.
Sunday, September 29, the Detroit Lions will take on their long-time division rival, the Chicago Bears and it marks the first opportunity for tailgating at Detroit's Eastern Market.
Over 20,000 fans are expected - poised and ready to begin the tailgating season at Eastern Market.
Spaces range from $40 - $160.
Reserved quad spaces, which include 13 reserved parking spaces, are sold out but available for future Detroit Lions home games.
"Fan camaraderie and social interaction are a huge part of one of America's favorite pastimes," shared Terry Campbell. "For the last seven years Detroit Eastern Market has been happy to share in the experience with Lions fans and the like."
