DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police have three people in custody and are searching for a fourth suspect following a smash and grab robbery from a drug store.
The situation unfolded Thursday morning after a group of crooks broke into a pharmacy inside the Food Palace Market on 7 Mile Road and Healy Avenue. A tracking device that was included in the money bag helped police track and locate one of the suspects, who was reportedly hiding in the basement of the house on Fenelon Street and 7 Mile Road. Police are still looking for a fourth suspect, dressed in a red hooded sweatshirt, who might be driving a gray Chrysler 300.
