If you like Ken Whisenhunt’s resume then you have to like Jim Caldwell’s too. It will come down to the interview. Who can sell Martin Mayhew on erasing the near sixty year Detroit Lions stain? My gut tells me Whisenhunt because of his work with the Cardinals franchise. Hard to ignore the work Caldwell has done in the past with Peyton Manning and last year with Joe Flacco. Both good candidates. I like these two unless the Lions can pry their mentors out of retirement.
