DETROIT (WWJ) – Mayor Mike Duggan has declared March Affordable Care Act Enrollment Month and is opening some Detroit firehouses and recreation centers for residents to sign up for health insurance.

Signup begins Monday and is part of Duggan’s efforts to get as many residents enrolled by the March 31 federal deadline.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays firehouses at the following locations will be open for enrollment:
