The Red Wings need some help to beat the Boston Bruins and that help might come in the form of their captain, #40 Henrik Zetterberg.

Zetterberg hasn't played in a game since February 8, but team officials told the media he's visiting the doctor Thursday afternoon and whether he'll play is a "game time decision."

He's been out since just two days after he returned from the Olympics.

When the surgery first happened, Red Wings GM Ken Holland said the captain "will be out seven to eight weeks, then he will be re-evaluated."

During Thursday's morning skate, Zetterberg was skating on a line with Pavel Datsyuk and Justin Abdelkader, and also was skating on the power play line of Pavel Datysuk and Johan Franzen.

On the season, Zetterberg has recorded 16 goals and 32 assists and a plus/minus of 19.
