Trinity International Film Festival To Screen 40 Films From 14 Countries In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Forty films from fourteen different countries will be featured at this year's Trinity International Film Festival in Detroit. There will be a variety of feature and short films -- from action, drama, animation to comedy.

Marshalle Montgomery is the festival's co-director and spoke with WWJ about the upcoming event.

"It's quite a selection of international films and, of course, we have to represent Detroit," said Montgomery. "There are a number of Detroit, local directors we will be featuring this year as well."

Local directors include: Ashley Kay Evans, Mida Chu, Anthony Green, Darren Brown, Walter V. Marshall, Carlonese Powell and Gregory Dockery, II and Producer, Raymond Rolak.

The Festival takes place August 1 -2 at The Carr Center on Grand River in downtown Detroit. Tickets to the two-day festival are $10.
