DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit police are searching for the man who opened fire during a dice game, striking a 23-year-old man several times.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. last Friday at a home in the 19300 block of Helen, in a neighborhood near 7 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue on the city’s east side.READ MORE: Michigan Matters: Fighting for Inclusion, Detroit's Place in Civil Rights History
According to police, the two men were involved in a dice game when the suspect apparently produced a handgun and began firing several shots. The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshots wounds.
