Verizon Wireless is the exclusive carrier of the new DROID Turbo by Motorola, which has a 21-megapixel camera with 4K video capture and features a 5.2-inch Quad HD display. It also has a Quick Capture feature which allows users to twist their wrist twice to launch the camera – avoiding the need to press any button or unlock any screens.
The DROID Turbo is also designed to be stronger than other phones with its Ballistic Nylon or Metalized Glass Fiber reinforced with DuPont Kevlar fiber, scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and water-repellent nanocoating protecting the inside and out against spills, according to Verizon.
It also has a battery that lasts up to 48 hours, and has a turbo charging feature that provided up to 8 hours of use from a 15 minute charge. The DROID also offers a feature where the phone wakes up when users reach for the phone, and with a simple wave of a hand over the screen, a phone call can be dismissed or an alarm can be silenced.READ MORE: Michigan Matters: Pistons’ Rob Murphy on Helping His Hometown
