Couch’s body was discovered by her children’s father, who allegedly went to her house after she failed to pick the kids up from school.

Authorities haven’t released any other details, except to say Couch was shot to death.

Police have questioned the children’s father, although they say he’s not considered a suspect.

A neighbor reportedly told police she heard a scream and a gunshot sometime Thursday afternoon, but she didn’t think to report it at the time.
