So you know what's really cool? When you get something for free…especially free live music. Free In Detroit is the first in a series of FREE events that will spotlight all aspects of Detroit's independent arts scene. Local bands, artists, photographers, independent apparel lines, all coming together for a night of celebrating all things Detroit! Dead World is back for their 7th year. This year's theme is anti-Valentine's Day, so get out the blood and zombie gear for all you hunters out there! Dead World 7 is sure to wake the dead with their bass. Jammed with international and national producers and DJ headlines, Dead World 7 will also represent The D with over 15 local producers and DJs, including Kenneth Klass, Massiffect, Falcon Punch, and more! One of Detroit's most notable DJs, DJ Godfather, will be taking over Elektricity this Friday night for his release party for WHVVVT?!?!, his newest album. For anyone that's ever been to Elektricity, you know the atmosphere is dance, dance, dance, and there won't be a dull moment with DJ Godfather and local support from DJs Dopeadellic and DAKOTA. 18+ FREE before 11pm, $10 after. Hear This! Promotions presents FEST 2015, with over 20 live bands and artists taking stage at the Diesel Concert Lounge in Chesterfield. There will literally be live music from almost every genre, perfect for everyone's taste.
