Re-Live Cespedes Opening Day Catch Here [VIDEO]

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) He came to town in the chill of February, but Yoenis Cespedes certainly heated up Comerica Park Monday with an Opening Day catch that had chins wagging across metro Detroit.

Looks like he's settling in.

Traded from the Boston Red Sox to the Detroit Tigers in December, only months after the Oakland A's traded him to Boston, outfielder Yoenis Cespedes told CBS Detroit's Ashley Dunkak he could see himself staying with the Tigers long-term.

"I think Detroit, in this moment, is one of the best teams in the league," Cespedes, a free agent after the 2015 season, said in Spanish. "I think not only me, but what player wouldn't want to be on this team? I think I would like to be on this team for a long time."

"I think I'm going to feel very good," Cespedes said. "I already feel good, but I think I'm going to feel better on this team."

The fans certainly felt good after that eye-popping catch.

MLB.com got more than 1,300 favorites on Twitter with a message that said "Cespedes ... for the rest of us."
