Teen Dies After Suffering 'Health Event' In Class

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Grief counselors will be back at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School Tuesday to help students cope with the death of a classmate.

Authorities say the student, a senior girl, was rushed out of her first-period class Monday morning after having some type of "health event."

The girl was taken to Mott Children's Hospital by Huron Valley Ambulance, where she was later pronounced dead.

A cause of death hasn't been determined at this time.

The student's name has not yet been released.
