HARRISON TOWNSHIP (CBS Detroit) – Residents and those in the area of Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township may hear sirens and see flashing lights on the facility during the day Wednesday.

The warning siren and flashing lights are part of training exercise on the base.

According to base officials, emergency first responders assigned to the base will be conducting a training exercise in which a simulated tornado will hit the base.
