CBS DETROIT – Four-star defensive end Josh King has committed to Michigan State, he announced Friday. King had announced in May that his top five schools were Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State, USC and Notre Dame.
King’s high school posted on Twitter a photo of him making the announcement Friday morning, and the player tweeted out the news a few minutes later.
Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio wasted little time going on social media to express his excitement – and a little sass – on securing a commitment from the 6-foot-6, 250-pound defensive end.
247Sports ranks King as sixth nationally among strong-side defensive ends.
