HopCat Giving Away Crack Fries For FREE On July 1

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) – They’re ranked among Food Network Magazine’s favorite french fries from across the country — and they’re free on Wednesday.

HopCat brew pub and restaurant — with locations in Detroit, Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Grand Rapids and Indianapolis — is giving away its delectable signature “Crack Fries” for free to celebrate the crispy beer-battered, black pepper and secret seasoning-sprinkled spuds having made a list of America’s 10 Best Fries in the magazine’s July-August issue.

Named for their oft reported addictiveness, Crack Fries will be free on July 1 only, with any purchase, one order per customer.   (The fries usually will set you back $3.95). A side of cheese sauce will available, too, for those with the urge to dip.

None of the other top 10 contenders are available in Michigan (oh, darn) but two can be found in Chicago and a third is available in Ohio — for those who fancy a road trip. [See the complete list, HERE].
