As a social media editor, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes — mainly typos and such — so I can understand what the person in charge of the Detroit Tigers twitter account is feeling tonight.

Following Friday night’s 7-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles, the Tigers’ twitter account immediately sent out an update that said “RT if you like high fives.” The only problem was that the accompanying photo was of Toronto Blue Jays players celebrating.

From the sound of it, the MLB has some control over all 30 baseball teams’ twitter accounts, so this was likely just an honest mix-up.

Needless to say, the tweet was deleted.
