DETROIT (WWJ) – One man was wounded in an attempted carjacking Monday morning at a gas station on Detroit’s east side.
A witness tells WWJ two suspects in a car were hanging out at the Shell gas station at Harper and Cadieux for a long time before trying to rob a man of his Cadillac Escalade.

Police say the victim was being targeted for his pricey SUV.
