DETROIT (AP) – Authorities say a woman has been killed and a man seriously hurt in a drive-by shooting in Detroit.

The Detroit Free Press and television stations WDIV and WXYZ report the Thursday afternoon shooting happened when a 38-year-old man was talking to a 51-year-old woman standing outside a car on the city’s east side. Police say a car drove by and someone in it fired at them.
