DETROIT (CBS Detroit) – Here’s your chance to hit a home run at Comerica Park.
The Detroit Tigers are holding two fantasy batting practice events this Friday and Sunday where you’ll have a chance to practice like the pros and hit off former Tigers and World Series pitcher Dave Rozema.
The first session takes place under the lights, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, and costs $275 per person. The second session is for the early birds, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, and costs $225 per person.
Each fantasy batting practice session includes batting practice with Rozema, shagging fly balls in the outfield, playing catch, hitting in the batting cages and spending time in the dugout. Plus, your family and friends are invited to watch from the stands.
NOTE: Batting practice is limited to participants ages 15 or older. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied on field by a paying adult.
Spots are limited. To register for a fantasy batting practice session, call Jerry Lewis at 313-471-2550 or visit tigers.com.
