Sara Lee, Nature's Harvest Recalls Bread That May Contain Glass

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - The maker of several popular bread brands is recalling some products because they may contain fragments of glass from a broken light bulb.

The limited recall covers seven different Sara Lee products, two each sold under the Nature's Harvest and Great Value brands, and one each for the Kroger, L'Oven Fresh, and Bimbo brands.

The company, Bimbo Bakeries USA, says a consumer found small pieces of glass on the outside of the bread.

The affected breads have "best by" dates ranging from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, Bakery Code 1658, and were sold in multiple states.

All the affected products have been removed from store shelves.

Consumers can return the bread to stores for a full refund and call 1-800-984-0989 24 hours a day with any questions.
