Tips Sought In Case Of Missing Macomb Boater

MACOMB (WWJ) - Authorities are looking for tips in the disappearance of a Macomb Township man whose boat was found abandoned.

Macomb County Sheriff's officials say 61-year-old Patrick Presutti left home on Saturday, Aug. 29, and was last seen on his 31-foot, 2000 310 SeaRay Sundancer at Bouvier Bay Marina in Fair Haven, Michigan.

His wife reported him missing on Tuesday, Sept. 1. The boat was spotted by a freighter crews on Monday, partially in Lake Huron, seven miles off shore in Sanilac County.

Officials with the Sanilac County sheriff's department , who were called to assist, said the vessel appeared to have been intentionally sunk. Macomb County authorities have said Presutti may be missing voluntarily.

Presutti is described as a white male, around 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 230 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes.
