Soccer is not a sport that I will ever sit down and watch, it just isn't entertaining to me. I understand the true soccer fans will want to tell me what I'm missing but I can wait for the highlights if it's that exciting.
One amateur soccer match was quite entertaining for the people in attendance. In a match between Brumadinho and Amantes da Bola, referee Gabriel Murta pulled out a gun during the match.
Yes, you did read that right, he pulled out a gun during the match.
According to theguardian.com:
The referee, also a policeman, is now set for a psychological assessment before potentially having his ability to officiate games revoked.
I'm curious how the ref ran around with a gun on his hip? That had to be uncomfortable. Did he really think there was a threat that he needed his gun during the game?
