2 Suspects Apprehended In String Of Home Invasions
FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- Two Monroe County men are in custody following a string of home invasions in Frenchtown Township.
Monroe County Sheriff's officials say the pair, who haven't been identified, are believed to be linked to eight home invasions between August 4 and August 12. Guns, electronics, jewelry, and coins were among the items stolen.
A 23-year-old Frenchtown Township man was arrested later in the month for an unrelated trespassing and resisting, and obstructing charge, and was in possession of stolen items. Another 23-year-old Monroe man was also arrested.
Many of the items have been recovered and have been turned over to Michigan State Police Crime Laboratory.
