Officials: 3 Boys Left Death Threat In Girl's Locker

DEARBORN (WWJ) - Authorities in Dearborn have identified three students who put a handwritten note inside the locker of an eighth grader, threatening to kill the girl and her entire family.

One of the boys will not be returning to school and the other two boys are currently suspended as police and school officials continue to figure out why the students targeted Brianna Lyons, a student at Stout Middle School.

She discovered the handwritten note on Monday inside her locker. It included threats that she and her entire family would be killed. Lyons immediately told school officials after finding the note and they contacted police, along with her parents.

Investigators quickly determined that the three boys were allegedly responsible for sending the note, although a motive remains unclear.
