A note posted to the page reads: “OK Facebook, my Detroit firefighters, other fire departments all over the country and now my softball family please help me reach my goal to find the killer or killers of my brother Super Dave, to bring them to justice. If you can only do five or ten dollars to this cause would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance. –  Verdine Day.”
