WATERFORD (WWJ) – Police are hoping the public can help identify two suspects who stole two vehicles from Waterford car lot.

The 69-year-old business owner told police he noticed the vehicles missing from his business in the 4000 block of Dixie Highway, near Hatchery Road, when he arrived for work the morning of Monday, Feb. 1.

Surveillance cameras recorded two suspects looking at vehicles in the lot a day earlier — on Sunday, Jan. 31 — when the business was closed. Police say the suspects returned later that evening and stole a blue 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 truck, and a dark blue 1999 Dodge Durango SUV.

The vehicles have not yet been recovered.
