Senior Citizen Beatdown At Detroit Liquor Store Caught On Camera [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are asking for the public's help in identifying a group of men who were caught on camera assaulting a 64-year-old man at a liquor store on the city's west side.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Western Liquor on Plymouth Road near Meyers Road, in a neighborhood just south of I-96 and Grand River Avenue.

Police say the three suspects approached the victim, who uses a walking cane, inside of the store. One of the suspects told the victim, "Give me some money," and then struck him in the face, according to police, causing the victim to fall to the floor.

As the first suspect made his way toward the exit, the second suspect reached down and struck the victim once more while the third suspect stood by.

All three suspects were seen leaving the location in a silver four-door sedan, which was driven by a fourth person.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5'6" tall and 150 lbs. with short black hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gray shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 25- to 30-years-old with black braided hair and eyeglasses. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and dark shoes.

The third suspect is described as a black male, 20- to 30-years-old 5'11" tall and 195 lbs. He was wearing a dark hat, gray sweatshirt and dark pants.
