The Snack Attack: Red Robin Rolls Out Its Version Of A Ramen Burger

Red Robin might be one of the more underrated restaurants when it comes to getting a good burger. Some people are instantly turned off when they hear chain restaurant but independently owned diners aren't the only place to get a juicy craft burger. Especially when it comes to Red Robin's latest creation: The Red Ramen Burger.

Available through June 5, the Red Ramen Burger is served on a crispy seasoned ramen bun and topped with teriyaki and Chiu Chow aioli, a medley of chili-infused shredded cabbage, carrot and onion, and garnished with fresh basil. YUM!

The restaurant didn't come right out and say it, but we think it's safe to say they took their inspiration from New York chef Keizo Shimamoto, who made the original Ramen Burger famous back in 2013.

"We closely follow emerging trends, and when the ramen burger first debuted, our culinary team worked to develop Red Robin's take on the foodie favorite, enabling us to be the first to offer it nationally," Jonathan Muhtar, Red Robin's senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in a statement.

At any rate, the Red Ramen Burger is sure to be a hit. Check back next week for our taste test review.

The Snack Attack is a new daily feature on CBSDetroit.com that centers around all things food. Know of a new snack we should attack? Send an email and we'll be sure to add it to the list.
